KA&MELOCK KM 20
KA&MELOCK KM 20 is a universal bonding agent designed to bond a wide range of elastomer compounds to metal and plastic substrates.
It is intended for use in combination with the appropriate KA&MELOCK MP 05 primer, forming a reliable bonding system.
This system provides excellent resistance to corrosion, elevated temperatures, and oils, ensuring stable performance under demanding industrial conditions.
The KA&MELOCK KM 20 bonding system is lead-free.
KA&MELOCK KM 20 enables reliable bonding of elastomer compounds based on natural rubber (NR), butadiene rubber (BR), isoprene rubber (IR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), butyl rubber (IIR), nitrile rubber (NBR), and chloroprene rubber (CR) to most metals, metal alloys, and polar polymeric substrates.
Bonding occurs during the vulcanization process of the rubber.
Typical curing temperatures for moulding applications range from 130 to 180 °C.
